Encores and More: Online Tag Form

“Bringing Down the Cost of Growing Up!”

This is the Encores & More online tag form that you can use to print tags on your own computer at home!

You can still hand-write your tags if you wish, but we really encourage you to print them and here's why:

  • The bar code will be printed on the card, along with your consignor number, price, and discount information. This will drastically reduce the margin of human error when reading the writing and printing the bar codes. This is crucial since the bar code information is how you get paid for the item!
  • No more waiting in line for bar code labels! No more waiting for bar code labels to be mailed to you!
  • Saves time since everything except the gender, size, and description is printed for you.

Please read the tips below, then answer the questions and click the "continue" button:

Tagging Tips:

MOST IMPORTANT!! YOU MUST USE CARDSTOCK!!

You will need white 8-1/2"X 11" CARDSTOCK and fresh, dark ink (set your printer for the very best quality) for your cards to scan correctly. When you come to drop-off, we'll scan one of your tags to be sure it works. If it doesn't, we'll make new bar code labels right then, so please be sure you are using cardstock and dark printing so nothing has to be redone

If you use anything thinner, your tag will get ripped off and lost. That means we cannot sell it, you won't get paid, and you may not get it back. Please, please use white cardstock.

Both Michaels and Office Depot have good prices on paper packs. If you have tags printed up and something needs to be changed on them, you can use white out to change anything except the price or the ND.

If the price or the ND needs to be changed, that means the bar code also needs to be changed. The only way to do that is to print a new card.

PLEASE DO NOT MARK THROUGH AND RE-WRITE ANYTHING.

Consignor number:

Please double check that your number is correct. This is directly tied to your payment. If it's wrong, someone else will get paid for your items!

Donating Items:

Thank you for any item donated! Remember, it's not an "all or nothing" option, you can choose which items are to be donated. But it saves many hours of sorting when you mark the X for us. Please also seriously consider if you are really coming back to pick up your unsold items.

Did you sell almost everything last time? (We know most of you did!!) Are you coming back for just a few things? Every sale we literally have 100s of people who don't pick up and we spend many hours sorting those items needlessly!

If you aren't coming back, please your items donate, it helps us so much!

Price:

It's not necessary to put the $ sign, it's already printed. The decimal and zeros are not needed either.

Discount:

This is the option that will print ND on your tags. If you are donating your items, please consider letting them be discounted. This will give you an additional chance to make a little money on them. It also could be a safe guard if you unintentionally overprice an item. Usually, overpriced items will sell at half-price if they don’t have the ND on them. And if it doesn’t sell at all, then it will be donated.

I like to print out several copies (both ND and not) of all my prices $1 - $12 and keep them in a filing box.

I use little post-it flags to divide them, making it easy to pick out the cards as I'm tagging. (I make a pile of items that have unusual prices and print them at a later time, all at once.) I hand-write the size, gender, and description, then pin and hang, and it's done! If you have Adobe Professional edition, you can even type in your details, but that program is not free. (Many people have it at work.)
